ok. so we had our first cell group today. after a million years of planning (kidding. we've never been together for that looonnnggg). i'm so thankful to God for helping me ask around the class and finally get the cell going....
sadly, it wasn't what we expected. thank God for the provision of a big and rather quiet area where we can sit and have the cell. worship was quite...screwed? haha. with no guitar, no song lyrics, no planning of worship whatsoever. in the end the only people singing were erm....rach and myself. haha. and it was quite distracting cause we were both ashamed of our own horrendous singing. haha. nvm. at least we learnt from our mistake. we did abit of sharing. quite pathetic cos very little people wanted to share. plus, we didn't have any devotion/bible study material.
well..the only productive thing that occured during today's cell was the rising of leaders of the cell. we now have 6 people in our cell grp "council" hahaha. sound pro only. at least we now have a proper team to plan the stuff etc. to really ensure that this cell is running rightly, making sure that everyone in the cell is growing etc.
i dunno. i really hope that God will lead us. considering how none of us except rach is an experienced leader in church. i really hope God will work through this cell....=)
