happy youth day =)

Mr ng gave a very surprising treat to all of us. no. i don't mean food. i mean like gift for youth day.

it was really sweet of him to encourage/motivate us by giving us EACH a motivation poster (different ones for each individual). was so touched i almost cried. it's cool. feels as if God has been encouraging me at least once every week in a very obvious and straight-forward manner to me =) therefore, after being so INSPIRED by the poster, i decided to change my layout and inspire others too. haha. talk about blessed to be a blessing =)

here's the poem:
Rainbows appear after mighty storms
when things look their very worst.
Just when the skies are darkest grey,
look for the rainbow first.

The rainbow is a sign of God's promise,
that he will guide us through any storm.
That He will see us through all our
troubles, no matter what their form.

When you feel battered by life's storms,
and you are filled with doubt and dismay;
just remember God's rainbow is coming -
it's only a prayer away.

it's been a great day =) must say the best youth day i ever had =) thank you IJ!!!
the mass was cool. considering the fact that i was greeted by Ms yip with a "did you pray for rain?" you see. she was playing the keyboard and i guess she was nervous. haha. no worries Ms yip. i'm a nervous bug too! speaking for assembly to the sec 3s and 4s nearly killed me. the teachers singing. or rather. Mr armstrong's singing was highly amusing. but i kinda feel bad and sorry for him. i think we really pai seyed him alot. poor guy. he didn't dare sing until the last song " it's a small world after all" it was our dedication song...SWEETASS =)

we spent the rest of the day slacking around. couldn't do much except eat (which is one of the bestest ability one has in life) or having our nails painted..or. going to the "disco". obviously i won't go do some nail art thingy. i went to the disco area to watch people dance. but u see. i'm highly (or should i say lowly) vertically challenged. and i was left watching everyone screaming and seeing nothing on the stage except for an occasion head bob or hand swinging in the air. but that was about it. i gave up watching after a while. haha

denise and i return to my classroom where i showed off my youth day gift from mr ng. and there we practised our O level orals =) after she left i sat in class practising my e maths TYS. HUR HUR. anyway. one of the branches of the tree outside my class broke. it was WAY COOL and damn DRAMA. haha. could see the entire thing just breaking before my eyes before giving way to the power of gravity. really cool. some teacher's lucky car missed the falling branch by just a bit. lucky person.
