study sessions

i don't know why, but all of a sudden i'm very happy in pub. it seems to me that pub is growing and it makes me happy =) which is weird. cos i barely care about pub. and it's weird, but i'm seeing serving as an entirely different thing. ah wellz.

while things seem to be getting tremendously better in church and my spiritual life, the other side of my old life seems to be getting worse. i seem to have lesser time for studies etc. i don't understand why the teachers give us so much homework and yet expect us to study at the same time. homework seems to be at a priority cos we have to hand it in the next day or so, yet, i dun see a point doing them when i can't get that certain chapter right and thus, it is useless either any how completing it, or completing it by referring to the textbook. i don't learn that way. i wish i could just have no homework so i could return home to just study and complete my tys. i think thazz a more effective way of studying. sigh.

there';s so many other things i have on my mind that it's clouding up my mirror. or perhaps my mirror is already cracking. so everything i try to reflect comes in bit and pieces and at a very superficial level. well of cos i could write many other superficial stuff down, but i fear the things people might react to what i would have to say. so i shall just keep it to myself, or talk among my buddies about those issues. =)

today's cg outing was barely a cg outing. they cancelled the beach camp cos no one's friend could make it. sad. pastor dave's rule. anyway, out of the many of us, only 5 turned up --> kelvin, daniel, nick, sarah and i. we sat studying at coffeebean before going to seoul gardens for lunch. i feel really sick now. all that meat and all. URGH...quite sick. i don't plan to go to seoul gardens any time soon. PEOPLE. let me warn you. the seoul gardens at bugis sucks. like BIG TIME! they have bad service, bad food, bad everything. i still prefer the one at AMK. but things change besides, who am i to compare when i've only been to seoul gardens twice in my very pathetic mountain tortoise life?

sarah and i were talking on the train back home, discussing how effective the study session we had was. so we were planning to have more study sessions together as a CG. =) yay. not that i don't like studying with my ARC mates, but i can't seem to study together with them. prob because we are such great friends we'll probably end up talking instead. then again. novita is a damn focussed person. unlike me. i work best under motivation and encouragement by the way =) so if you scold me i'll prob just do the opposite of what you want me to do =)
