MIRACLES HAPPEN!
they really do. The whole reality of the results still haven't quite sunk in honestly.
i was really really scared of the whole results. You would be if you were me. Looking at all my previous results in SA...goodness...i would have been happy if i passed everything or simply get a CCS. with and S for my terrible chemistry. i was so afraid that with the whole bell curve with all that smart kukus from RJ and HC and what nots, my grades will drop even lower than it already is.
i was soooo scared i broke down way before i got my results. it was so embarassing...but i couldn't help it. I've never cried for my results before...that was how scared i was. i was afraid of doing so badly i can't qualify for uni or the course that i want to go, afraid that i'll do so badly i would get laughed at. despite te many reassurances that God was by my side, that He held my future in His hands, i couldn't help but feel super scared and worried that if i didn't do well...i'd feel lost about the future.
for someone who constantly fails her exams or scrapes by a pass, imagine the shock i got when i saw my results. never have i in my entire jc life seen no Ds and below, not to mention the number of As and Bs at one whole shot. what surprised me most was my lit and chem results. I not only passed the 2 lousiest subject, i got a miraculous A for lit and B for chem.
to enable u to understand my circumstance, my lit was so bad my teacher once asked me after my exams why i took lit if i had so much difficulty. for chem, i once scored at a 3.3 percentile in the whole school with a score of 20/100. my chem tutor was super worried for me for i always had a "gloria frown" on my face everytime we had lesson. i was so bad she tried to help me to her wits end, not knowing how else to help me except to ask for divine intervention. THAT WAS HOW TERRIBLE I WAS. i'm very thankful that in the end all worked out in the end :)
i know for sure that my results is a gift from God. never in my entire life can i say i deserve it. i know it's not my own effort cos it's really a miracle that i could even get a C let alone As and Bs. i do hope i've been a testimony to my fellow school mates and teachers, testifying about God's faithfulness throughout the whole JC life etc.
really thankful to God. learnt from this whole journey that God really holds our lives in His hands. When He brings you to it, He'll enable you to finish it. He is faithful to the end :)
Thank you Father for your divine intervention, for being my source of strength and provision, for being faithful, for showing and teaching me hope and perseverance, for just being the God of everything.
