IT IS WELL..IT IS WELL..WITH MY SOOOUUULLLLL....
yep! i'm finally done with applicationg **HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF** after much effort and time spent..man..this is merely a glimpse of what my life will be in the future...and it'll be so much worser than this :S aieeeee
haha. ah wellz..
had to rush all the way down to ntu to submit all the ADM requirements like essay, portfolio and video. goodness. it takes alike 1hr 45 min to 2hrs to travel..i wasted like half my life travelling there and back today. the office supposedly closes at 5.45 and i reached there at 5.46. THANKFULLY the office haven't closed yet and i was able to submit my stuff. PHEW. at least my cab fare wasn't wasted. if i go to ntu to study i better kill to get a good place in the hostel. not JUST a place, but a GOOD one at that!!! goodness..travelling back and forth is inhumane.
alot of things hasn't been very smooth sailing lately..but somehow everytime i panic and pray it all turns out fine in the end.
honestly..if i were God..i'll be so sick of little human beings. they're not even fun to play with in the first place and all they know how to do is complain. they don't think of you when they're playing and they keep yelling ur name everytime they need you..and ONLY when they need you. what sad life.
I was reading Jodi Picoult's "keeping Faith" during the ride to and fro from ULU NTU. it occured to me that God's love is really like a parent's. While it's less heart wrenching to see a grown man getting wrongly punished on the cross for things He never did, Jodi Picoult did a good job in letting people see and understand the sacrifice that Jesus had to make by portraying His role in that of a young innocent and helpless seven year old girl. makes you go aww and want to protect her as well..reminds me of all my little girls in sunday school. maybe that's the way with God. I guess you'll only understand it better if you yourself are a parent and you will do all that you can to protect your kids though you are not entirely in control of what happens to them and their actions.
Like parents, God won't always prevent anything that will hurt you..not becos He can't, unlike earthly parents, but He'll always be there to cushion the fall and help you to pick yourself up. There's one segment in the book that really struck me. It was one part about all the religious leaders studying little Faiths claims of seeing God and then they realised that perhaps the woman god she is seeing is not really a woman, but Jesus. but being just a small girl, she links anything with long hair and a dress (long olden days robe) to being female. It's just a matter of perspective. As a young kid, we understand God to be a huge being, one that is powerful and all knowing, with the ability to protect us. While we've never truly seen Him or know what He really is like for sure...we fit in images of our own experiences with people or simply adding on to what our ideals of a parent should be. It made me wonder whether perhaps all that i wanted God to be was simply all that my parents failed to be for me.
now i sound like i'm doubting the existance of God :S
anyway...i'm starting to dread coming home to eat...the food is so terrible..ack....i eat the SAME food SAME STYLE every day..lunch and dinner...thank God i;m working for now! otherwise i die man!!!
