pictures time!!!!first few hours on the plane ride...all is well and happy...
after many many hours..flying to the states is NO JOKE OKAY! to give you an idea of the ickyness of flying there or rather..back...from savannah, Georgia, we flew to washington dulles then on to San Francisco then to Korea for transit and then to Singapore. i sat till my ass was sore. NO JOKE. thank God i didn't have motion sickness by some magic. everytime i felt woozy i imagined myself flying on a broomstick harry potter style. it worked :)...SERIOUSLY

some bridge in San Francisco..it obviously ain't the golden gate. but it looks better than it :)

Academy of Art University at San Francisco..the whole city scape thing...why would i choose it? i chose to fly to america for a reason..to get to nature!!!

their fashion show...

that was made out of wood mind you. so impractical..but oh so art school. themed from fantasy tales like Alice in Wonderland

Chantal from America's Next Top Model. my bro didn't get a shot of Eugena

this is wad companies do with extra money..they spend it on worthless advertisements like these.

wild Sea Lions at Pier 39 :) they stink by the way..but they look furry when they're dry. then again..it looks more like moss :S

some funny sign at a restaurant at pier 39

chocolate galore. the whole shop smelt super sweet. ack...and we wonder how americans grow so fat....

SHREK EARS..no idea what they're for. maybe for ships to dock...but then these were in the middle of a street :S

COOL SPRAY PAINT ARTIST

Golden Gate...typical tourist shot :)

SPRINGTIME IN THE PARK!!!

everyone lies down in parks like that...seriously...they even sun tan!

the white stuff on the grass is small little white flowers. it looks much prettier in real thing. the photo does it no justice.

Civic square in San Francisco

the sign says "No adults allowed unless accompanied by children"

funny how things are the opposite way round at the other end of the world :S

Pigeons galore. they're damn fat

typical breakfast :)

my spastic brother loves barney!!!

THE INFAMOUS FORTUNE COOKIE!!!!

at chillis

SCAD student centre for the kids to chill out.

see those bowl like lights? they're not lights..they're speakers that are specially designed to channel the sound to the people in the area...so alot of different grps can watch tv without disturbing one another and still hear what they're watching. cool.

another cool thing there that we don't have a picture of is their sleeping pods. yeah..they have SLEEPING PODS for students to sleep. it's like this recliner that u can adjust the angle and timing that u want to be in...then there's this cover to protect ur identity from people around u...when time is up, the chair will vibrate and lower itself. coolness.

this is the graphic design and admissions building for SCAD

it's a really gorgeous place and i fell in love with it. Savannah is a historical town filled with gorgeous architecture and beautiful parks and squares everywhere. i can so see myself living there. the dorms are beautiful too. even nicer than my room plus it's air conditioned. it really shows the kind of welfare they have for the kids in school.

SCAD is pretty famous in the area. They are the reason why Savannah is so much cleaner than before. everyone knows SCAD and you can find their catalogue even in the airport. stupid..and here i am waiting for the catalogue to arrive and it was all over Savannah :S

i just hope i can get in..yikes....i loveeee it :)

on the plane. domestic flights are puny. IT'S SO SMALL...THE LIFE VESTS PROVIDED ARE ACTUALLY YOUR SEATS!!!!!!!!

to give you an idea of how small it is, the aisles are so small u can put my bag on the floor and it takes up the entire area. the cabin is so small i can reach the ceiling and my hands aren't even stretched. so pity the poor ang mos who are so big. by the way..United Airways have a terrible temperature control on the plane. it's atrocious. i was sitting next to the window freezing my ass off cos i could feel the temperature outside...but if i sat at the aisle seat it would be damn hot and my toes will be damn cold...talk about cold air sinking :S

in a gist...i'm glad to be able to visit both schools cos i realised AAU is not for me and SCAD is totally for me. it's quite amazing being able to get tickets in the first place and even so to get my mum willing to fly here and there.

ahh..hope to hear from SCAD soon....btw..i got accepted in NTU ADM Visual Comm and NUS FASS. hahahhaa...how now brown cow...reject!!! SCAD HURRY UP!!!!
