time at work has been disasterous. time literally CRAWLS on by...while bobo and i have a remaining 2-3 mnths left at the office...at the rate time is crawling we're gonna feel like we're 80 yrs old by the time our contract ends :S

being attached to ps eunice whose husband also works in the office also means that i have a buy 1 get one free boss..which i dun exactly want..but hell...at least i have work to do now. bobo and i..or rather..I have been tasked with pasting over the dates of the new marriage alpha course on the previous marriage alpha publication. this means cutting loads of strips of dates...3 per set...and i'm supposed to do 3oo sets. which means...900 cutting and peeling and pasting. ack...sai gang for bobo and i!!! ah well..at least when we're going it time doesn't crawl on... thankfully i have bobo to drag into this cos she's equally..if not more bored than i am! haha

the only highlight of the week has really been eating roast duck with amy and sharon and bobo. the burnt down coffeeshop at amy's hse is finally back up and we get to have our very nice roast duck, pork and char siew :) I was never a fan of any of that few so you can imagine how great the food there is. Apart from that place...i'll never eat char siew. even at kay lay...only the duck is worth eating. the 4 of us would share half a roast duck, a plate of char siew and a plate of roast pork :) and have our usual drink orders of milo peng, teh peng, coke and coke light :) all according to our skin colours...minus coke light la..but the light indicates that she's the fairest among all of us. lol.

having become such a fan of the food at amy's coffee shop...the pain of having to leave for the states and leave the local food behind is breaking my fragile heart. I AM GOING TO HAVE A LOCAL FOOD MARATHON before i leave for the states. Places to go to are.....

1. THE DUCK RICE, ROAST PORK and CHAR SIEW at amy's hse
2. hokkien mee at xinmin sec sch and chomp chomp
3. carrot cake at chomp chomp
4. orh lua at makansutra at esplanade
5. fried rice at potong pasir broadway
6. Ban mien (VERY IMPORTANT) at hougang green
7. oreo frappe at grapevine (ok..this is not local..but hell..it's a mighty blaster)
8. chicken wings at chomp chomp

yeah..that's about all that i can think of....for now. HAHAHHAA.. but yes..now that i'm accepted i'm planning all that i need to go/get:

1. mac book pro
2. software for my mac - creative suite professional CS3, 2008 office for mac
3. ipod - so i can store my portfolio and listen to music as i do art
4. camera - so i can update u guys on what i'm doing in US
5. select and print photos to bring along with me to the states
6. get my F-1 visa to study in the states

yeppers :)

anyway..the brudders and i caught the play England yesterday. it was quite confusing cos they kept jumping from role to role and since there's only 2 people acting i was really quite lost now and then. but it was still cool...reminds me of all the acting stuff nicole stinton taught us and now that i've learnt them u really notice it more rather than just watching it for entertainment...imagining spaces...sinking into character...yesterday's play really displayed alot of the restraining movement so that the audience can focus on your words instead of getting distracted by ur hands. sigh..i miss theatre and acting...no idea if i'd ever get to do it again...ah wells...
