i survived cross country! yay. i supposed it wasn;t that bad after all. actually, it seemed shorter than a 2.4 run even though it's 3.2 km. for one of those rare times...i'm happy to be a girl. hahaha. at least i don't have to fun 4.8 km. which i reckon is mad. oh. and through this cross country i've learnt something. COLD MILO TASTES A MILLION TIMES BETTER WHEN YOU ARE HOT AND THIRSTY AND PANTING LIKE CRAP =)

loved the ice-cold milo. haha.

i decided to pang sey my OG and go for SFC fellowship. it was quite pathetic, not the things that happened, but rather the number of JC1s that went. haha. in fact, there were more J2s than us. but nvm. i like it small anyway. i don't fancy a TOO BIG CCA cos there's no closeness and everyone barely knows one another. which is BAD. yep yep.

still, it was a good chance for me to get to know people more, esp the seniors. pris is a super nice girl. reminds me of Gen Liu though. not that it's a bad thing. it's good cos it gives me some sense of familiarity =) we were broken up into our CGs to get to know one another better...AGAIN. but i' m ok with that. i just don't like the fun fact part. man..it's hard to think of something. oh. and we had PIZZA for lunch. YUMMY.

we TRIED watching movies. ok. the outing was basically meant to just hang about and get to know one another. my something amazing happened! none of us liked the movies we watched, so we turned them off even before it reached the 1/4 mark. haha. in the end we had this impromptu worship and prayer session which was good =) i mean it was a true worship session and you could really see how passionate each and everyone of them were about God =) i love my CCA already. haha. and we broke up into groups to pray. had jayce the vp of sfc with us. and we just shared about what God has done in our lives, what we're going through now etc. it was a pretty good sharing session cos you get to see the different things God is doing and it is just very encouraging =) there was this girl, who came from a non-christian family and you see, her family is anti-christian so she's not allowed to come down for church or just read the bible at home. in fact, everything she's doing for God is done in secret, from going to SA (her parents don't know it's a Christian school =]) to just reading the bible and it is just so encouraging to know that despite all the obstacles she face she is still on about God and she still perseveres for Him **sniff**

Jayce shared as well and she really really really encouraged me through her testimony and in a way, made me reconsider whether or not i want to stay in SA (JC) or go to a poly. she answered my questions and at least i'm back to doing my QTs. though they aren't as fruitful, but still, there's hope =)

i realised something. everytime i'm sort of on the right track with God, my attitude is very different from when i'm away from God. when i'm away i'm more vulgar, selfish, rude, heck-care about studies etc and i just give up easily. but when i have hope in God, i want to do my best, just surrendering whatever i have to Him and it's so much better....

it's just amazing how God uses things in your life to grow and mould you =)
